We are looking for a PL/SQL APEX Developer to join our team on a legacy platform migration project in the healthcare sector. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to modernize and optimize database-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Analyze and enhance existing PL/SQL applications.
• Design and implement PL/SQL components to support the migration process.
• Convert legacy applications to Oracle APEX.
• Develop and maintain database schemas and data models.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to databases and applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and migration guidelines.
• Work alongside QA analysts to ensure solution quality.
• Stay current with trends in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and database development.
  
  

Education

Required Qualifications

• Degree or ongoing studies in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in PL/SQL development.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Oracle APEX 18.3 or newer.
  
  

Technical Expertise

• Ability to manage priorities and development workflows.
• Experience with task management in development environments.
• Skilled in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with data integration processes.
• Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Oracle Database versions 12c and 8i.
• At least 2 years of experience with Oracle Forms 6 and Oracle Forms Web.
• Experience in the Portuguese public healthcare sector, particularly in development, maintenance, or hospital billing systems.
