We are looking for a motivated and skilled Systems Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design, integration, and deployment of advanced security and telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering, with hands-on experience in CCTV systems, GENETEC solutions, and telecom design activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience and solid knowledge of CCTV systems.
• Experience with GENETEC solutions.
• Proven experience working with security and surveillance systems.
• Previous experience in telecom design activities (considered an asset).
• Familiarity with virtual machines (VMs) and Active Directory (AD) (considered an asset).
• Experience with CAD design tools (considered an asset).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English; French is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• University degree.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Daily Responsibilities

• Define technical specifications and engineering plans for the development of solutions/products.
• Assemble and integrate system components in a logical and controlled manner to validate design, performance, interactions, and compliance with requirements.
• Ensure the solution/product meets all approved operational needs and is ready for production, testing, installation, and operational support.
• Plan and coordinate subsystem development in line with the defined architecture and customer requirements, ensuring design consistency and adherence to company processes and business objectives.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for your domain across the entire project. Ensure subsystem interfaces are well-defined, consistent, and complete.
• Optimize technical activities with respect to cost, schedule, and risk — from design through validation and acceptance.
• Manage technical requirements within your domain.
• Prepare and maintain all relevant technical documentation, including but not limited to:
• System Requirements
• Design Documentation
• Configuration Documents
• Installation Manuals
• Test Procedures
• Operations & Maintenance Documentation
• Training Materials
• Provide technical input for design reviews with both internal teams and the customer.
• Support the definition of operations and maintenance (O&M) activities with technical expertise.
• Support on-site installation activities.
• Conduct testing and commissioning activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), on-site configuration testing, and final commissioning.
• Assist in configuration management alongside the configuration manager.
• Prepare training documentation and conduct technical training sessions in your area of expertise.
• Document and share lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
