Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced Asset Development Systems IT Expert to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of digital systems and tools used in asset development projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems relevant to engineering, construction, and capital project environments, with hands-on experience in system integration, data management, and user support.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems supporting asset development and capital project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with Operation/Asset Management teams to ensure systems meet business needs and industry standards.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including process automation, data analytics, and corporate tools integration.
  • Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and system availability across all supported platforms.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate system upgrades, patches, and licensing.
  • Support training to internal users and project stakeholders.
  • Support data migration and integration with corporate ERP, document management, and maintenance systems (e.g., D365, Maximo, L2 Scada).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in IT systems support, preferably in asset development or capital project environments.
  • Proven experience with engineering information systems, project management platforms, and asset lifecycle management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), APIs, and system integrations is a plus.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Maximo or others asset management tool knowledge would be considered a plus.

  • Strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Prior experience in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
  • A good relationship builder to work with stakeholders at all levels across the business.

  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • Italian or Portuguese will be desirable
