Where will you be in the organization?

The division

Group Technology Operations (GTO) aims at designing, developing, and operating Global AXA IT products, delivering them to AXA Entities and the AXA Group, at the right level of quality of service and cost and aligned with business-driven priorities. Its missions can be summarized in four main activities: global product delivery, global product portfolio management, day-to-day operations management, and entities proximity management.

The department / team

You will join the Global Service Operations Departement, within Group Technology Operations (GTO) Division.

Our department manages day-to-day IT service delivery for AXA on a global scale, in partnership with Group Operations (GO) Global Products Departments, AXA Entities and our external suppliers, in accordance with GO IT Operations Framework, contract requirements, SLAs (Service Level Agreement) and OLAs (Operational Level Agreements) and Security Instructions.

About The Job

Main missions :

The Tech lead of the Logboard platform is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the platform to meet the needs of AXA Group Operations.

He coordinates the team of developers to design, develop, and implement projects and improvements, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and easily maintainable.

The tech lead understands stakeholders’ requirements and translates them into technical solutions. He also identifies opportunities to optimize and improve the platform’s performance, monitors usage, and identifies potential areas of risk.

Overall, the tech lead provides technical leadership to ensure the platform's success and effectiveness.

DIMENSION OF ROLE

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth technical knowledge of the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and other relevant technologies used by the Logboard platform.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that meet stakeholder needs and are secure, scalable, and easily maintainable.
  • Familiarity with log monitoring and analysis tools, data visualization, and performance monitoring.

Leadership

  • Lead a team of developers to implement projects, improvements, and modifications to the platform.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the required standard.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Communication

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (including business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and individuals to achieve common objectives and resolve cross-functional issues that arise.

Problem-solving

  • Proactive identification of potential issues and their resolution, including researching and testing solutions.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and provide practical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues on the platform and propose solutions for their resolution.

Strategic Thinking

  • Provide input in platform strategy and long-term planning, and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Conduct analysis to inform evidence-based decision-making and promote continuous improvement of the platform.
  • Able to balance business goals with technical feasibility.

Mentoring

  • Coach and mentor junior developers to ensure they can meet technical objectives and grow professionally.
  • Create and lead training programs for Logboard platform and related technologies.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and documentation.

Main Activities - Responsibilities

Logboard Platform Management

  • Managing the Logboard platform ensuring stability, availability, reliability, and performance
  • Defining and implementing platform configurations
  • Maintaining up-to-date platform documentations (design, architecture, procedures)
  • Regularly reviewing and optimizing the platform performance to ensure optimal usage of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implementing upgrades, patches, and other enhancements.

Logboard Services Delivery

  • Managing the new onboarding (New projects)
  • Collecting the new requirements
  • Providing work breakdown and estimates for development tasks.
  • Overseeing the development, testing, and deployment, ensuring that they meet all required quality standards.
  • Managing project timelines
  • Providing regular updates on project progress to project stakeholders
  • Identifying and mitigating the project risks

Transformation/Innovation

  • Identifying areas where the Logboard platform and services can be enhanced and optimized to provide better value to customers.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in Elastic infrastructure and architecture and identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and practices to improve the Logboard platform.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product Owner/Manager, Architects and ELK developers) to drive innovation, develop new offerings by enhancing the existing solution.
