The Associate Automation/QE provides basic support in processes and projects related to Automation/QE. The role is expected to contribute to regression and feature testing, prepare test cases, and execute routine automated tests. The role is based in our Lisbon office.

The Associate Automation/QE provides basic support in processes and projects related to Automation/QE. The role is expected to contribute to regression and feature testing, prepare test cases, and execute routine automated tests. The role is based in our Lisbon office.
What You'll Do
- Prepares easy-to-understand test cases, checklists, and bug reports, aligned with best practices, to ensure comprehensive coverage of required checks with test documentation.
- Develops basic automated tests of acceptable quality level, with assistance.
- Executes automated tests and analyzes the results.
- Participates in code reviews to obtain new knowledge in automation.
- Continues to develop conceptual knowledge within the QA area.
- Good knowledge of the testing theory
- Beginning to intermediate skill level in Test Automation
- Basic theoretical knowledge of automation frameworks
- Basic knowledge in any of the development languages used for testing in the team, e.g. C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, Java, Python, Groovy, Go, etc.
- Theoretical knowledge of Web APIs (e.g. REST)
- Some experience with dev tools in the browser
- Understanding of basic software engineering tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Build processes and systems
- Knowledge of DB theory and SQL language
- Theoretical knowledge of Agile
