Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Qlik technologies, alongside a solid foundation in database architecture and development (PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server). This role will be central to delivering actionable data insights through robust reporting and scalable BI architecture across international projects.

This position is Hybrid in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI and Microsoft Fabric architectures and dashboards.
• Build and optimise ETL processes and data models for high-performance analytics.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and support existing QlikView and Qlik Sense applications (bug fixing and enhancements).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and MS SQL Server).
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across systems.
• Contribute to solution documentation and support UAT and deployment processes.
  
  

Requirements For The Role

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric in both architecture and dashboard/reporting design.
• Strong knowledge of QlikView and Qlik Sense, including mashups, extensions, and bug fixing.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in ETL development, data modelling, and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) for BI front-end customisation.
• Experience using tools like NPrinting and integrating BI platforms with other services.
• Comfortable with scripting and analysis in Python, VBA, or R (a plus).
• Certifications in Microsoft Data Platform or Qlik tools are highly desirable.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
