About The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and build scalable, high-performance backend services for our growing portfolio of applications. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to develop robust APIs and infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using NestJS.
- Develop and maintain APIs, optimized for scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Optimize database queries and caching strategies for high-throughput systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Contribute to the evolution of internal architecture and development standards.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- 3+ years working with NestJS or similar frameworks.
- Experience integrating with third-party platforms and APIs.
- Strong understanding of API design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud providers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment.
- Bonus: Experience with blockchain technologies is a plus, but not required.
