A Snapshot of Your Day
A typical day for a Project Entity (PE) Section Manager begins with reviewing emails and prioritizing tasks, including recruitment requests for site engineers in collaboration with the respective discipline Line Manager. After a brief team meeting to discuss ongoing projects and objectives, the manager focuses on onboarding new employees by preparing orientation materials and scheduling introductory sessions. They also work on yearly performance evaluations with the Line Manager, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for team members, while identifying training needs to enhance skills within the team.
In the afternoon, the manager monitors productivity and people utilization, analyzing performance metrics to ensure optimal resource allocation. They collaborate with Business Controlling to manage the budget, approve travel expenses, and oversee timesheet management for accurate reporting. Administrative tasks, such as managing work clothes and tools, are handled alongside ensuring a productive office environment.
