Who will I be working for:Our client's offshore assets produce 1% of the world's oil, they operate in 15 countries across the globe covering North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
With over 7, 000 employees and 15 floating production systemscurrently in operation, they continue to grow, with new contracts awarded to support future expansion.
As part of their sustainability goals, they are developing CO2 capture solutions for their FPSO units and have developed breakthrough technology for the Offshore Wind sector.
What will you be doing:As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead supply chain operations across South America and Africa, overseeing a diverse team and ensuring effective end to end supply chain management in a high performance, highly complex operating environment.
Your remit will include procurement, logistics, inventory control and supplier management.
You will work cross functionally to align supply chain activities with project delivery schedules, while optimising performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
You will be managing an international team, department budgets and resource allocation for your team.
This role will involve travel to South America and Africa on a regular basis.
What experience you will have:To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience in supply chain management within the oil and gas sector, with exposure to international operations and complex logistics environments.
You should have a strong track record of leading multicultural teams, developing supplier relationships including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to deliver and adapt in a fast paced and evolving industry landscape.
Essential requirements:International Supply Chain management experience in the Oil and Gas sector
Experience in leading a global, diverse team of Supply Chain Management professionals
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Either living or willing to relocate to Porto
