We set the company’s strategy and technology vision, offer an unparalleled research foundation for innovation, and provide critical support infrastructure for Nokia.
The Technology and Services Portfolio team at Nokia is responsible for internal product development for Nokia cloud and datacenter environments. We work diligently to ensure our technologies are up-to-date and our services meet the ever-evolving needs of internal business teams. With a focus on innovation and efficiency, our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions that drive success for Nokia and our clients.
The Senior Solutions Architect role is integral to our team. You will be responsible for creating business cases and developing end-to-end design for complex solutions. Your ability to understand stakeholder requirements and translate them to engineering deliverables will be crucial in designing effective solutions. From the initial conceptual phase to deployment, you will work closely with internal business teams as a trusted advisor. With your expertise, you will play a vital role in specifying and adapting solutions to ensure optimal performance and success.

You will be joining a team of highly skilled, enthusiastic, and passionate technology professionals working in this leading-edge and constantly changing space.
As part of the team, you will:
- Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams on the implementation of enterprise cloud and datacenter products, services, and solutions.
- Identify and implement solutions which create business opportunities to expand and optimize Nokia's enterprise cloud and data center ecosystem.
- Develop business cases to drive investment required to implement new products and technologies.
- Engage with internal teams, partners, and/or third-party vendors for detailed design discussions.
- Prepare designs and documentation covering all aspects of a solution.
- Support project teams in reviewing project schedule, issues, articulate technical risks, provide tradeoffs and mitigation plans.
- Contribute towards shaping future product roadmap strategy and planning.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related technical field of study.
- Experience in a large enterprise environment (preferred).
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud service providers.
- Google Professional Cloud Architect and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in implementing cloud and/or datacenter solutions across various computing environments, including requirement analysis, solution architecture, and solution design.
- Deep understanding of the latest technology solutions from partners and vendors.
- Ability to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- Knowledge in cost optimization techniques and ways to automate for optimal footprint.
- Practical knowledge of automation, distributed systems, operations, security concepts, network concepts, database, cloud technologies, and datacenter management.
- Ability to operate autonomously, take end-to-end ownership, and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements, such as GDPR and SOX.
- Experience with industry frameworks and methodologies, including ITIL, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- A previous experience on AI Automation is a plus.
