Job Purpose
An internship as an IT Global Buyer is essential for improving global and regional buying processes by analyzing procurement strategies, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices. Additionally, interns play a vital role in streamlining approval processes and enhancing procurement tools by assisting with automation efforts, updating documentation, and optimizing workflows. They support the development of a structured framework for interdepartmental management of procurement requests, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among IT, finance, and procurement teams. By refining these processes, the internship contributes to a more efficient, transparent, and scalable procurement system that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsabilities
Objectives To Be Achieved By The Intern
Learn how Procurement IT is done, from the market research to the first payment of the selected supplier;
Implement a tangible improvement on at least on of the following processes: (supplier selection, vendor creation, PO creation error index, Budget control, Payment terms improvement road map);
Secure savings through competent negotiation and/or internal demand review.
Requirements
Candidates should have an interest in procurement, process automation, and enterprise systems like SAP. A strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with IT, finance, and procurement teams are essential for supporting procurement standardization, streamlining approval workflows, and optimizing source-to-pay operations.

Responsabilities
- Support source2pay;
- Standardize procurement tools (RFx supporting documents, purchase requests, etc.);
- Train in SAP to submit POs and Contracts;
- Understand where the system can be improved;
- Secure global and local IT purchases.
