Job Description

As an Asset and General Ledger Accountant, you will support the Americas region by taking over various transactional activities. You will become a key partner to the business, facilitating effective decision-making through accurate information.

In your new role you will:

• Participate in the month-end closing procedures of group consolidated entities
• Manage fixed assets master data and other asset-related transactions
• Handle daily banking transactions, general entries, calculation and posting of accruals, and Balance Sheet account reconciliation
• Understand accounting policies and execute closing procedures of group consolidated entities
• Be responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the received accounting data
• Act as an interface with local accounting, financial controllers, and other business partners
• Ensure accurate and timely data reporting to Central Departments for legal consolidation
  
  

Your Profile

You are a fast learner with high-quality standards. Your strong problem-solving skills and flexibility enable you to remain focused on solutions and to act cooperatively. You remain focused and goal-driven even when under pressure. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills that allow you to cooperate successfully and establish sustainable relationships with people across all levels of the organization.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent field
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounting, preferably in an international/Shared Service environment
• Good command of SAP and MS Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook
• Fluency in written and spoken English
