Job Description

As a Data Scientist, you will use process mining to provide meaningful insights to our internal customers in order to support their choices to lead their future business. Furthermore, you will analyze diverse data sources to extract new and actionable discoveries.

In your new role you will:

• Describe process model requirements and identify IT application data needed for implementation of process models, cooperating with business process experts and IT application owners
• Define and implement process models using SQL and Infineon’s process mining platform mpmX by:
• Taking ownership over developed process models and assuring their maintenance and continuous improvement
• Consulting on the capabilities of process mining, providing trainings for end users
• Proactively explore new areas for Process Mining
• Support the maintenance and scalability of the developed Process Mining solutions
• Assure availability, integrity and quality of developed data models in a dedicated process mining database
• Become familiar with business processes built up in models across diverse functional domains
• Provide support in scouting and observation of process mining provider market as well as newest capabilities, ensuring continuous exchange with other process mining developers
  

Your Profile

You have a proactive working style and technical expertise that fit perfectly in a multinational and dynamic environment. You are a hands-on and innovative person who is able to communicate well with different levels and functions of the organization. Your great consulting and moderation skills allow you to explain solutions in person and in writing. Furthermore, your high-quality standards and agile mindset allow you to use your thorough analysis skills and produce efficient results.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering or similar field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in relevant areas, preferable in an international company
• Experience with Process Mining and data analysis and visualization is a big advantage
• Data manipulation skills for at least one well-known database system like Oracle or MS SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, dbt – Data Build Tool)
• Experience in at least one programming language
• Familiarity with business processes is an advantage
• Fluency in English. German is an advantage
