As an Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales, promotion and development plan to reach commercial goals in the Surgical channel for the Porto area and north of Portugal.
This is a temporary contract for 1 year.
You will have the opportunity to work with some of our well-known brands and to expand our medical equipment and products related to cataract and Vitrectomy.

In this role, a typical day will include:
- Develop customer development strategy, dedicated AM action plans for assigned accounts, aligns on account objectives, and executes.
- Establish and develop relationships with key customers. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives.
- Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans and to give strategic input in terms of analysis, future potential and key programs required for the accounts
- Fluent English & Portuguese. Written and spoken.
- Intermediate Spanish
- Excellent communications skills and ability to influence vendors, internal and external stakeholders
- Commercial and strategic sales mindset, able to work independently
- Proactive, dynamic and positive mindset. Able to identify problems and trends, and solve complex problems
- Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Biomedical, Optometry, Vision Sciences...)
- Manage your own workload and schedule while hitting your set targets
- Collaborate with teammates to share best practices and learnings as work evolves
