Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with data analysts and cooperate with IT in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, but also act as a consultant by translating business needs into overarching integration requirements.

Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with data analysts and cooperate with IT in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, but also act as a consultant by translating business needs into overarching integration requirements.
In your new role, you will:
- Be the main point of contact on Communications & Public Policy end for data integration matters
- Create and enhance data pipelines, implementing automated jobs for ingestion, processing, and storage of data
- Design and deploy scalable data systems to support the implementation of BI solutions enabling data-driven decision-making
- Together with the data analysts, translate business needs into requirements, developing the models & architecture to meet those needs
- Provide a comprehensive overview of our data landscape to other team members and external stakeholders, consulting on topics such as data availability and accessibility
- Act as a gatekeeper for data quality, security, and compliance, implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure them
- Trend-scout regularly in order to ensure our data infrastructure is up-to-date, efficient, and adjusted to our needs
- Support Communications & Public Policy as well as business in taking better, faster, fact-based decisions, driving our digital transformation further.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field of studies
- At least 3 years of data engineering experience within a global organization – ideally close to Communications & Public Policy topics
- Strong knowledge of data integration landscape and processes, including data modeling and data architecture principles
- Previous experience in designing and building large-scale data systems
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages and familiarity with BI software
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English.
