We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Sales Associate to join our sales team. This person will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with industrial clients (plastic converters), identifying their needs and offering tailored solutions, including sustainable materials (recycled, bioplastics, etc.).

Your tasks

Order management

Administration of the sales process (sales order handling, proactive communication towards customers on lead time, prices, etc.).

Commercial fulfilment

Provide high quality customer service by ensuring fulfilment, promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving or escalating complaints, and providing ongoing support to ensure high level customer satisfaction.

Commercial growth

Makes appropriate sales proactive calls to allocated customers (including delinquents). Act as a first point of contact for customer queries.

Commercial sales

Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's needs, present an appealing reasoning to the customer until successfully closing the deal and follow-up on the sales.

Commercial transformation

Set clear objectives for each proactive customer interaction and ask relevant questions to evaluate the customer's level of interest and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.

Commercial leads

Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers.

Commercial tools and systems

Uses commercial tools and systems for routine tasks independently such as entering customer data, Ensure the quality of the data and troubleshoot issues when needed to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.

Product knowledge and trainings

Proactively ensures own understanding of product features and benefits, provide basic demonstrations and assist with straightforward inquiries.

What You Bring

  • Education and Relevant Professional Experience: Previous experience in B2B technical sales, ideally in plastics or related industrial sectors. Basic knowledge of material properties (plastics, additives, compounding...).
  • Good Communication Skills: You enjoy communicating fluently in English and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, both nationally and internationally.
  • Solution Orientation: Analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset. You identify challenges early and address them pragmatically and empathetically, whether within your team or advising employees and managers .
  • Adaptability: You enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-growing company, proactively contributing your skills, continuously developing yourself, and seizing changes as opportunities.
