We are looking for French speakers to join our client's project related the the world-renowned North American consumer electronics company to work as Payment Specialist to join, supporting a global technology client. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the online store, focusing on payments, refunds, and customer financial inquiries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for Sales, Sales Support, and Order Management teams on payment-related operational issues and customer escalations.
  • Interact daily with external payment partners to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and refunds through various payment methods such as credit/debit cards, wire transfers, loans, and leasing.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries related to payments, VAT, invoice amendments, credit/debit memos, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism when working in a sensitive information environment.
  • Liaise with finance and back-office teams to ensure efficient issue resolution and a seamless customer experience.
  • Work primarily in a back-office setting with minimal outbound calling as required.


What Were Looking For:

  • Native-level French (C2) and good command of English (B2)
  • Experience in customer service or payment operations is a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Flexible schedule availability to match order volumes
  • EU member state passport or a valid residence card for Portugal (a MUST)


Training:

  • 15 working days of paid training in English
  • Covers systems, tools, customer management, and product knowledge
  • Includes on-the-job practice and integration into the team


Working Hours:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Rotational shift pattern, Monday to Sunday, between 07:00 and 24:00
  • 8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break
