Main Purpose of Job
Obtaining a consistent sales growth and achievement of sales/profit goals in targeted accounts by identifying opportunities and anticipating barriers to the business.
Accountable of the Key products Market Development, expanding the leadership position through the design, implementation and execution of the appropriate strategies in Portugal, aligned with international guidelines to achieve the objectives of market share, sales, profitability and sustainable growth.

Accountable of the Key products Market Development, expanding the leadership position through the design, implementation and execution of the appropriate strategies in Portugal, aligned with international guidelines to achieve the objectives of market share, sales, profitability and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets. Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory
- Maintain a plan of regular visits to the customers, to identify their needs, and business opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive strategic plans for Key Accounts with clear objectives and activities.
- Implement and regularly track the execution and impact of activities and performance of Key Accounts. Implement marketing strategies for product launches.
- Adapt and implement the key products global strategy in Portugal.
- Define Key products segmentation criteria and customer/account prioritization according to the established strategy
- Design key products tactic plans which allow strategy implementation in Portugal. Execute key products plans in the assigned accounts
- Responsible for the education of Health Care Professionals
- Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards. Compliance with local and corporate policies and procedures

- University degree in life sciences, medical technology, cardio pneumology technician, nurse or biomedical.
- Master degree in marketing preferred

- Sales experience in cardiovascular environment is a definite plus
