Sales Area Manager Portable Air- North of Portugal
To Grow and Develop Portable Air division in Portugal, we are selecting a Sales Area Manager for the North of Portugal. The ideal candidate is a professional with knowledge in portable air compressors and referred applications to the different market sectors, good knowledge in manufacturing Industry and B2B has a proven experience selling capital goods.
She/He will report to the Business Line Manager Portable Air Division in Portugal.

Sales Area Manager Portable Air- North of Portugal
To Grow and Develop Portable Air division in Portugal, we are selecting a Sales Area Manager for the North of Portugal. The ideal candidate is a professional with knowledge in portable air compressors and referred applications to the different market sectors, good knowledge in manufacturing Industry and B2B has a proven experience selling capital goods.
She/He will report to the Business Line Manager Portable Air Division in Portugal.
Role & Responsibilities
- Successfully pursue the achievement of sales targets assigned to the area and to individual dealers/retailers/end-users in accordance with Business Line strategies.
- Developing a distribution network based on specialist dealers, resellers, and rental companies.
- Improve market share through relationships and sales to direct customers/end users.
- Territory management
- CRM C4C managing by create Prospects, Leads, Opportunities and Sales Quotes
- Conduct an in-depth market analysis and segmentation, to identify all potential segments and channels to promote all range products.
- Ensure your professional updating on both products and sales strategies through participation in specific training sessions, reading of manuals and/or technical magazines to maintaining Atlas Copco Portable air products as a reference brand for high added value applications.
- Develop partnerships and manage the agents in the area to guarantee a constant and repetitive order flow.
- Present sales materials and promotional programs.
- Train partners staff on new products, services, sales tools.
- Liaise and collaborate with local service colleagues for aftermarket activities.
- Cooperate with marketing team to develop an effective brand communication and awareness, to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Provide updated feedback to the management on market requirements, new products, competitors’ products, network, and product technical issue.
- Able to travel to Angola to help on business development through the appointed dealers on different sectors.
- Register customers base, sales activities, quotations, opportunities and leads daily.
- Active use of the CRM system to report and seize cross brand opportunities.
- CRM (C4C) use for periodical reports related to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against sales goals.
- Sales funnel analysis
Knowledge
- Portuguese.
- Good knowledge of English
- Will be considered an added value Skilled in IT tools like MS Office, Outlook, SAP and C4C.

- Proactive person.
- Resourceful and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Willing to travel in competence (70% of the time).
- Very good level of communication and presentation skills.
