Job Description

As a Customer Management Specialist, you will support the Global Customer Management team and be responsible for maintaining high-quality and accurate data across global systems. You will contribute to the foundation of the success of customer master data maintenance and customer portfolio administration.

In your new role you will:

  • Support daily Customer Master Data (CMD) & Customer Portfolio (CPM) operational tasks and requests in a timely, responsive manner with a high level of service within the same time zone
  • Undertake worldwide responsibility for Direct and Distributors End Customer data in our Customer Master Data systems & tool (e.g. SAP & CMD Hub)
  • Be responsible for Customer Master Data setup and maintenance, changes and updates in all Customer Master Data systems & tools
  • Clarify data inconsistencies reported by internal or external users across all regions worldwide
  • Perform proactive and consistent checks between CMD systems and clarification/clearing of data inconsistencies with related departments
  • Deliver as per assigned tasks related to Customer Portfolio, especially on Channel Transfer requests
  • Execute direct Customer Master Maintenance in SAP-PIF with quality data, high level of accuracy in a timely new customer creation (e.g. Sold-To/Ship-To) within the same working day (especially US time zone), and indirect Customer Maintenance in SAP-CRM & Customer Aliasing Table
  • Perform Golden Main Customers Maintenance in the CMD Hub with daily consolidated cases within the same working day
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Support and recommend business process improvement projects to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline efficiency
  • Assist in defining data scope and objectives, provide preliminary recommendations on potential data processing applications, and assist in the development of business process specifications
  • Understand the priority of open issues and provide regular feedback on progress and problem resolution
  • Act as the backup person across the regions as and when needed

Your Profile

You possess excellent analytical skills and a passion for working with data. You feel comfortable navigating with numbers, drawing insights, and have a keen eye for detail in every situation. You enjoy collaborating in international settings and thrive in dynamic and cross-functional environments.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, International Business, or a similar field of studies
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer master data, analytics, and process maintenance
  • Experience and knowledge in SAP and Tableau or any other ERP/CRM tools would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools, such as Excel
  • A data-driven approach and a high data quality mindset
  • A sense of urgency and attention to detail at all times
  • A strong and fast-learning mindset and demonstrate eagerness to develop new skills and expand your knowledge
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English – German would be an advantage
