Job Description

In today's fast-paced and complex business environment, effective knowledge sharing and learning are crucial for success. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and creativity, our Digital Learning Solutions (DLS) team in Porto is dedicated to creating engaging learning experiences such as interactive eLearning’s, product videos, infographics, explanatory videos and more for our mainly internal Infineon customers. We are a team of 30 colleagues producing 170+ digital learning products a year. As the Manager of the DLS team, you will act as an intrapreneur and play a key role in shaping the future of digital learning at Infineon.

In your new role you will:

• Develop and implement a strategy for digital learning (in the age of AI) that is aligned with customer needs (e.g. Infineon business functions & divisions)
• Regularly, refine the DLS scope, product portfolio and service levels and pricing strategy
• Define and plan the annual roadmap, including demand forecasts, strategic goals and milestones
• Ensure team alignment with business priorities
• Lead and empower a large, diverse team in a dynamic environment and drive change while leading the team through it
• Oversee the project assignment process, ensure effective resource allocation, and facilitate alignment across sub-team
• Coach and support the leadership team and engage the entire team, ensuring the team has the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles
• Build trusted relationships with various stakeholders (e.g. customers, learning department…), promote and sell the DLS product portfolio, increase the visibility of the DLS team across Infineon
• Act as cost center owner and ensure financial sustainability by managing budgets, optimizing costs, and recovering expenses through cross-charging to our clients
• Support and facilitate the transition to more agile project management across teams
• Drive process improvements, streamline workflows, and uphold DLS quality standards to maximize productivity.
  
  

Your Profile

Your excellent communication skills, combined with your ability to build relationships with stakeholders, allow you to build and leverage professional networks towards achieving organizational goals and motivating people for joint success. You have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams, with a particular emphasis on guiding them through periods of transformation and change. You demonstrate strong project management skills which enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often in a rapidly changing environment that requires adaptability and agility. Furthermore, you work across borders to achieve success, bringing creative ideas and expertise to your work, and leveraging your leadership skills to drive business outcomes and achieve results.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Business Administration/ General Management / Human Resources or a related field
• Proven leadership experience (at least 2 years in a larger leadership role) and minimum 6 years of relevant experience within Training, Human Resources or Product Development
• Passion for (digital) learning and affinity for digital content creation and strong desire to learn about trends, tools and technologies for eLearning/video creation
• Change management expertise and ability to lead teams through change and foster a culture of adaptability and innovation
• Strong strategic thinking skills, ability to align operations with business goals, and innovate around industry trends
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, align diverse interests, and build trusted relationships across functions
• Experience in budgeting and cost center management, with an eye for identifying optimization opportunities
• Knowledge of agile project management and process improvement methodologies
