The MIKUTA brand was founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens White, starting in 2017 with a small jewellery line, which later expanded to clothing in 2019. MIKUTA is a young, wild & free-inspired fashion brand for modern women with a glimpse of rock’n’roll. MIKUTA is currently one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands in the fashion market.

Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal. We are currently working with Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Collection cycles and soon grow to a product portfolio of more than 400 products.

About The Job

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and has a strong passion for operations and business growth. You’ll play a hands-on role in leading key operational functions, from scaling logistics to improving customer experience and driving cross-departmental projects. Your strategic thinking, leadership, and organisational skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations and supporting the company’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a sparring partner to our Head of Customer Experience Joana in enhancing and optimising customer experience processes
  • Lead and collaborate with our Head of Logistics, Fabio, to optimise and scale logistics operations, while ensuring compliance with cross-border logistics regulations
  • Lead cross-departmental projects — from shaping a sustainable product lifecycle to driving certifications like B-Corp or similar
  • Deliver strategic support to fellow C-level executives Christian and Jorge, driving high-priority projects and initiatives that demand executive attention.

About You

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to balance big-picture goals with day-to-day operations
  • Experienced in logistics, customer experience, and operations management, with a strong passion for e-commerce
  • Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and excels at problem-solving under pressure
  • A natural collaborator, skilled at working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement, with experience in managing and optimising cross-departmental projects
