Cyber Security Staff Analyst (f/m/div)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join Infineon as a Cyber Security Staff Analyst! As a Cyber Security Staff Analyst, you will lead critical efforts to detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity incidents. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization’s defenses, enhance detection capabilities, and ensure preparedness for future threats. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a secure and resilient environment.

In your new role, you will:

• Handle cybersecurity incidents from detection to closure, ensuring timely response and resolution
• Support complex incident investigations and respond promptly to minimize impact
• Analyze alerts and logs to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Report incident status to management and stakeholders
• Document actions taken during incidents and conduct post-incident reviews
• Work with other teams to improve security posture
• Improve detection capabilities continuously
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Update incident response playbooks
• Train staff on best practices
  
  

You have a proactive and detail-oriented mindset, taking full ownership of your responsibilities and driving results in your area of expertise. You thrive in collaborative environments, building strong relationships with colleagues across various levels and functions of the organization. Additionally, your excellent communication skills enable you to share knowledge effectively, provide clear guidance, and contribute to fostering a culture of security and continuous improvement.

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

• A University degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Cyber Security Incident Response
• Proven experience in handling cybersecurity incidents from detection to successful closure
• Strong background in developing and implementing effective detection rules
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management experience
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
