Job Description

In the role of Solution Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing end-to-end solutions that utilize Nokia's extensive multi-BG and BL portfolios. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure these solutions align with the respective product roadmaps and meet revenue and cost allocation targets. You will drive the maturity of these solutions towards industrialized offerings and delivery, ensuring they remain best-in-class and highly profitable. As the prime marketer and promoter of these solutions, you will champion them across all markets. You will be involved in Product, Portfolio & Solution Management (PP), providing critical input across the entire lifecycle of products and services, from design to termination. Your role will include the optimal allocation of resources, balancing the product and service mix to align with Nokia's overall business strategy. You will ensure successful market launches by applying effective go-to-market strategies and translating key market, business, and customer needs into innovative products, services, and solutions.

Your work in Solution Management (SMA) will involve handling highly complex solutions with significant revenue impact. You will manage the revenue and profitability of these solutions, ensuring proper sales and cost allocations among the respective BGs and BLs. Additionally, you will ensure that solutions meet required features, cost parameters, and gain customer acceptance, driving Nokia's success in the competitive market landscape.

  • Own KPIs for solution reusability and propose portfolio-led initiatives.
  • Lead vertical/segment solution development and align segment solutions with roadmaps.
  • Drive solutions towards industrialization.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Typically requires 7- 10 years of extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate/postgraduate equivalent degree.
  • Mastery of a specific professional discipline, combining deep knowledge of theory and practice within a function. Expert in more than one area with a broad perspective.
  • Ability to solve highly complex or novel problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
  • Experience in leading functional teams or projects with considerable resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others outside of own job area on policies, practices, and procedures. Cross-cultural knowledge and a global mindset are essential.
  • Highly independent and self-directed, with the ability to develop plans, measure effectiveness, and anticipate problems while seeking opportunities.
