Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Role

You will be part of our exciting journey, with direct exposure to the complexity of the logistics industry and playing an active role in its transformation.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems and integrations that support the global operations of a leading logistics provider.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from our Air, Sea, Road, and Contract Logistics business units to refine the requirements that streamline existing processes that every day bring all types of goods to our doorsteps.
• Operate and monitor the solutions you develop, namely providing third-level support that can guarantee the high availability of your software.
• Document the systems you develop for operations and users.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Academic degree in computer sciences or equivalent education/knowledge.
• More than 6 years of professional experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency with C# and .NET Framework, specifically for desktop applications development and experience in developing user interfaces with .NET WinForms and/or WPF.
• Experience with relational database programming is required.
• Professional experience with third-party component libraries, particularly the DevExpress framework, is highly valued.
• A rich experience and flexibility to work with diverse technologies relevant to desktop client development (e.g., networking concepts, UI/UX principles).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent work attitude and ethic. You take it upon yourself to improve what is not yet good enough.
• Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and be constantly challenged.
• Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
