Job Description
In the context of this solution, the Network Infrastructure Services Business Unit (SBU) is seeking individuals to join the post-sales delivery and consulting team. The role will focus on delivering Datacenter Design and Architecture collateral to Nokia's customers for their next-gen DC Solution.
Our team
You will be part of the Global Network Engineering (GNE) organization that works on IP network design across Nokia's Network Infrastructure (NI) portfolio of products. Within GNE, the team you will be a part of focuses on Nokia's Data Center Fabric Solution. Working with team members across the globe, this role includes engaging in network design, transformation, migration and consulting work with Nokia's customers and partners.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead architecture discussions and requirements gathering workshops with Customers
- Document, present and deliver relevant design collateral such as HLD (high-level design), LLD (low-level design) and test plans to customers
- Provide guidance to Customers on Nokia-validated Design best practices and architecture
- Engage in staging and network integration phases of the customer project
- Consult with network deployment and integration teams in work related to design questions and architectural guidelines
- Work with Product Line Management, pre-sales and support-teams to provide feedback and deliver to our customer's expectations
Key Skills And Experience
This role requires cross-domain knowledge and the selected candidate would be expected to be familiar Data Center networking and Cloud concepts.
If you have:
- 8+ years work experience in the IP routing domain
- Strong working level knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols: BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, L2 and L3 VPNs, QoS, etc
- Familiarity with Data Center Fabric design principles
- Familiarity with network automation and NetOps/DevOps techniques
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, AWS, GCP
- Experience in consulting and providing professional services directly to external Customers
- Hands-on network integration and problem solving skills
- Hands-on experience on Nokia SR Linux and Event-Driven Automation (EDA)
- 3rd party router expertise, including Cisco/Juniper/Arista product lines
