How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a DevOps Engineer in new BBSoC RCP SW team, your role would include:
- Deploy, maintain, and optimize DevOps tools and infrastructure
- Manage integration, builds, releases, and lab operations
- Develop automated, reliable CI/CD platforms and improve existing tools
- Ensure smooth software integration and quality testing
- Plan, organize, and collaborate with global SW teams
- Develop testable requirements, test plans, and troubleshooting tools
- Drive quality improvements, RCA/EDA analysis, and fault correction
- Optimize code and contribute to feature development (C++/Java/Python)
- Enhance internal processes for efficiency and compliance
- Gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge RCP technologies
You have:
- Experience in SW development/ Testing on DevOps (CI/CD/SCM)
- Strong experience in C+/Java/Python: development and testing
- Experience with common CI/CD related tools, including Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Absolute, Docker, Kubernetes, GetOps
- Knowledge in SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices
- Experience of scripting/coding with one or more languages (such as Python)
- Understanding of the cloud runtime environments
- Understanding of Telecommunication architecture and requirements (E.g., 5G Radio Network)
- Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) cloud native characteristics including Kubernetes
- Knowledge of open-source software
- Knowledge of platform services and real-time systems
