Cloud Platform (CP) focuses on:

• Cloud RAN R&D Leadership: Innovating, developing, and maintaining top Cloud O-RAN and Cloud RAN products
• Program Execution: Ensuring successful Cloud RAN initiatives
• Open-Source Engagement: Leveraging OPNFV, O-RAN, and OCP for technology leadership
• Business Goals: Driving CP HW and SW success
• Product Delivery: Delivering Nokia data center HW/SW solutions for Radio & RIC/MEC applications
• Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Achieving best-in-class cycle times and cost targets

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As a SW Engineer in the CP team, you will:

• Develop and integrate software features based on product backlogs
• Maintain DevOps, CI/CD (Docker, Python)
• Perform unit, component, and integration testing
• Develop troubleshooting tools, optimize builds, and ensure best practices
• Improve software quality and develop test tools
• Optimize code and implement features (C/C++ or modern languages)
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Experience in SW development/testing with good SW practices
• Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, and cloud runtime environments
• Strong experience in C++, Golang, and Linux scripting (Python, Golang, etc.)
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Understanding of telecom (5G), CNCF, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with open-source software, embedded systems, and processor architectures
