Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms to address complex business challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of data science initiatives and projects, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to comprehend business needs, designing, and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
- Leveraging big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for processing and analyzing large volumes of data, or equivalent cloud computing expertise.
- Developing and deploying predictive models and algorithms in real-world production environments.
- Conducting comprehensive exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation.
- Effectively communicating finding and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Embracing a data-driven, solution-oriented, and critical mindset, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- 2 or more years of experience in data science roles with a focus on statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL, Python, and distributed/cloud processing framework such as Pyspark.
- Exhibit familiarity with advanced analytics libraries/frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
- Robust understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and various machine learning techniques.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Seaborn, Matplotlib, or Plotly.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and experience in distributed computing frameworks, either on-premises or in the cloud.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex data challenges.
- Hold a solid academic foundation in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Data & AI, or Computer Sciences.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS is a plus)
- Mandatory fluency in English.
