Software Architect (m/f/d)

Your Role

As a Software Architect (m/f/d), you will take over responsibility for shaping the application landscape to optimally support current business needs and future development. Furthermore, you will contribute to the team’s daily work as a full-stack developer.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and model the application landscape (Business Domains, Business Capabilities, Functional Architecture and Design, Technical Architecture and Design, Infrastructure Architecture) to identify areas for improvement.
• You will align with stakeholders to analyze and ascertain business requirements, prepare the technical outlines for the epics, cut user stories, and write product documentation in close dialog with experts on business and technical domains.
• You will develop Java- and Angular-based internal digital products within the global Ocean Schedule Portfolio (Web/Desktop), write clean code, and take responsibility for the quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software.
• You will work on defining, specifying, and designing modular and integrated software products and implement automated tests for your code.
• Demonstrate understanding and capacity to support and nurture your team daily.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to use in the development process.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Expertise in architecture, design, and related methodologies and technologies.
• Strong understanding of business domains and structural, analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in communication, presentation, and fostering a collaborative, no-blame culture.
• Commitment to personal and team growth in dynamic environments.
• Academic degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
• Several years as a full-stack developer with skills in Java, Angular, SpringBoot-RestAPI, Hibernate, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, Oracle, ReactJS, SQL, and front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, NgRx).
• Knowledge of Kafka, API Gateways, Microservices, and DevOps (preferred).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
