Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for leading medium to large-sized projects, providing comprehensive project management expertise for key business clients. Your role includes full oversight of project scope, scheduling, financials, and risk management from initiation through to successful project completion. You serve as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying business opportunities and ensuring consistent client satisfaction.

Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for leading medium to large-sized projects, providing comprehensive project management expertise for key business clients. Your role includes full oversight of project scope, scheduling, financials, and risk management from initiation through to successful project completion. You serve as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying business opportunities and ensuring consistent client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and closure of medium to large-sized projects.
- Lead comprehensive project planning, risk management, and scope management activities.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and targeted profitability levels.
- Regularly report project status and financial performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure client acceptance for partial and complete deliveries.
- Manage and coordinate local, remote, and third-party team members effectively, ensuring cohesive project execution.
- Actively identify and pursue further business opportunities within existing projects and accounts.
- Provide expert consultancy services, including the creation of project concepts and specifications.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring alignment with expectations and requirements.
- Support the acquisition process, contributing significantly to proposals and offer creation.
- Develop and enhance project management capabilities within the team, actively mentoring and coaching other project managers.
- Act as an advocate for organizational change, proactively promoting best practices and innovation within project management.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing projects independently, preferably in software development or digital delivery (e.g., ecommerce, CRM, ERP, CMS).
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are beneficial.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
- Strong sales and business-oriented mindset with proven ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, acting as a role model for colleagues and fostering a positive team environment.
- In-depth experience with the full lifecycle of project management and advanced knowledge of modern methodologies (Agile, Kanban, etc.).
- Proactive, independent worker with strong presentation skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Certification in Project Management (Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile PM Practitioner, Scrum Master, IPMA) advantageous.
