Senior IT Architect Procurement (f/m/div)

Are you the one for the bigger picture? Do you want to use your consulting skills to translate business requirements into a future IT solution landscape? As a Senior IT Architect, you will be responsible for SAP centered IT architecture in the procurement domain as well as aligning it with your peer architects to ensure consistent IT Target Application Architecture. You will maintain close networks and relationships to drive and participate in numerous projects, initiative sand boards within Infineon to enable best practice procurement processes.

As a Senior IT Architect Procurement, you will design and implement a future-ready IT Target Architecture for the Procurement and Mobility domains, integrating private cloud, public cloud, and on-premise solutions like SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Ariba. You will maintain the current IT As-Is Architecture while driving innovation, ensuring data quality, and aligning solution designs with enterprise architecture governance. Collaborating with solution owners and external providers, you will shape roadmaps and deliver impactful, scalable IT solutions for the Procurement domain.

In your new role, you will:

• Translate the Procurement Business Strategy into a future-proven IT Target Architecture for the Procurement and Mobility domain consisting of Private, Public Cloud, and on-premise (SAP S/4 HANA) solutions
• Maintain the IT As-Is Architecture consisting of SAP ERP, SAP S4Hana, SAP Ariba (Public Cloud), and numerous non-SAP applications for Procurement and Mobility
• Ensure data quality in our Enterprise Application Management tool, as part of your Enterprise Architecture governance responsibilities for the Procurement and Mobility domains
• Support the continuous enhancement of our Guidelines within Enterprise Architecture Governance
• Conduct assessments in your area of responsibility for critical demands and create related architecture artifacts
• Support the creation of the application roadmap for Procurement
• Understand and track the roadmaps of IT Procurement solutions in collaboration with their providers
• Drive best practice exchange with other enterprises and IT solution providers in the Procurement domain
• Align with solutions owners, consult and guide them with a focus on solution design and IT architecture
  
  

You anticipate the needs of your customers and engage actively with them about their business processes. Furthermore, you like to think “outside the box” and to provide an “outside-in” view towards your internal customers.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture in the domain of Procurement and Travel solutions with a deep understanding of related processes
• Expert knowledge of SAP MM PUR and Concur – experience with Ivalua, SAP FI/CO, SAP PP on S/4 Hana is highly appreciated
• Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP SLP, and SAP MDG is helpful to perform your tasks
• The ability to abstract and present IT solutions on an Enterprise Architecture level
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, as well as intercultural competencies
• Fluent English skills, German is a plus
