Job Summary: The Hotel Operations Manager oversees all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards in guest service, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage. This role involves managing department heads, optimizing efficiency, and supporting the hotel’s overall strategic goals in coordination with the General Manager.

Job Summary: The Hotel Operations Manager oversees all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards in guest service, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage. This role involves managing department heads, optimizing efficiency, and supporting the hotel’s overall strategic goals in coordination with the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
- Supervise department managers (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, etc.).
- Monitor service quality and implement operational standards.
- Analyse performance metrics and guest satisfaction to drive improvements.
- Manage operational budgets and control costs effectively.
- Support recruitment, training, and team development initiatives.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive revenue and occupancy.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in hotel operations management or similar roles.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible working hours, able to adapt to the demands of the role.
- Portuguese and English languages (additional languages are a plus).
