Back-end .NET Engineer

PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is a joint venture between PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, serving as an integral extension of PwC Luxembourg. The role - Back-end .NET Engineer

Responsibilities

In this role, you will leverage your .NET expertise to develop and maintain business applications. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining back-end services using C#, .NET 8, and Entity Framework
• Designing and implementing Web APIs, Middleware, and Web Sockets
• Writing tests and following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Contributing to cloud migration efforts
• Continuously improving performance and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Your profile

• You successfully completed your degree in informatics, computer science or related fields
• You have working experience of at least 3 years in back-end .NET development, with expertise in C#, .NET 8, LINQ, and Entity Framework
• Proven experience in designing and developing Web APIs, Middleware, and Web Sockets
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like XUnit, Moq, AutoFixture, and Fluent Assertions
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and strong skills in SQL development
• Experience with cloud architectures (Azure) and CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps)
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
