Retention Marketing Associate - #229006

At Spice, we're building the performance marketing engine for restaurants.

We are looking for a talented, motivated, and creative Email Marketing Associate who is driven and excited by crafting email campaigns the grow online sales for a portfolio of game-changing restaurant brands. You will work with clients to plan out and execute email campaigns that engage their customers and drive online sales growth.

This is a client-facing position meant for the best and brightest in copywriting & email creative, capable of leveraging their unique skillset.

This is a remote job and is open to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, and Mexico. This role supports a U.S. based team and client roster. Candidates must be available and flexible to support and work from 9 am - 5 pm in the U.S. EST time zone.

A Day in the Life

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Collaborate with clients to plan and implement email marketing campaigns designed to retain customers and drive online sales growth

• Write, proofread, and code creative, high-converting email and SMS briefs

• Schedule email and SMS campaigns for clients

• Translate brand strategy into a powerful copy that drives desired actions and outcomes

• Work closely with our in-house design team to ensure the design vision for campaigns is effectively realized

• Continuously bring new copywriting and retention marketing ideas to the team

• Set up automation/flow logic, build pop-ups, and integrate app

You should apply if this sounds like you:

• You’re passionate about developing creative email and SMS marketing copy that drives revenue, loyalty, and lifetime value for restaurant clients.

• 2+ years of experience in copywriting, digital marketing, growth marketing, e-commerce, or a related field

• Proven track record of developing creative, high-converting marketing copy

• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Customer.io, Mailchimp, or similar Email Service Providers

• Excellent project management skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment

• Superb verbal and written English communication skills
