We leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform as core technologies for our CRM solutions. We are the competence center within Essity globally for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated technologies.

About the Role

In this position, as Senior IT Integration Software Engineer CRM B2B Services, you will board a great journey where your contribution will help us to improve our IT services and create disruptive CRM solutions at scale! You will work with an international and cross-functional team of experts and your focus will be the integration of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM into other applications (with a priority to and from SAP S4) based on functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements. Acting within the solution development team, and in close collaboration with Integration and SAP S4 Teams, you’ll contribute to the delivery of enhancement or new feature of the CRM System. You’ll drive the whole delivery process, from analysis and design to configuration, development, and integration, up to testing work packages and ensuring smooth Go Live and “hypercare-related” support. You’ll report to the IT Manager CRM B2B Services (HM).

What You Will Do

In this position you are part of the scrum team of HM CRM B2B product, which core solution is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 system (CRM). You’ll be involved into a major project, and thus responsible for driving and supporting efficient and respectful collaboration and coordination with Integration and SAP S4 Teams.

Play a key role in a major project on integrating CRM to SAP S4 through CPI “middleware”:

  • Actively contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of the project, from the pre study phase to transition into a live service, meeting the project's requirements (incl. agreed customer specifications and expectations) and ensuring completion on time, within budget and to required quality standards.

  • Monitor and control execution of the project, in respect to the scope related to CRM to SAP S4 and SAP S4 to CRM, through adequate methods (e.g. Analyse, Design, Build, Test and Release

  • Ensure effective communication to stakeholders.

  • Contribute to finding and implementing effective solutions in a matrix organization

  • Understand the underlying business processes to provide the best solutions to meet business requirements. Cooperate with developers, software engineers, architects, business analysts and business stakeholders to make sure that the applications meet requirements and performance goals.

  • Lead and execute technical designs for the different entities of the D365 system, in respect to its integrations into other applications like SAP S4 or other internal web applications, to meet the business quality, security and regulatory requirements while adhering to Essity standards, policies and guidelines. Accordingly, validate the design with stakeholders to ensure alignment and value to the customer.

  • Take an advisor and Business Analyst role towards the integration team (CPI) to ensure that the agreed design of integrations and interfaces are developed collaboratively. This includes necessary developments in D365 system (building, configuring, customizing) to integrate, and implement complex end-to-end solutions in heterogenous environments, in coordination with the IT Architects and cross-functional teams.

Contribute to the testing of technical designs and developed or configured interfaces, to ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation. This includes:

  • Preparing test cases and reviewing test cases created by other software engineers and developers for unit testing purposes, and end to end acceptance

  • Conducting unit and cross-functional testing and fixing detected errors, by driving System Integration Test and supporting User Acceptance Tests

  • Ensuring documentation about changes to perform project reporting on project completion, to guarantee reusability of developed solutions within Essity IT, and to ensure proper handover of the developed solutions to the support organization.

  • Ultimately provide level 3 support and production standby after going live, by assisting in analyzing and solving issues regarding integration of the D365 solution

  • Drive continuous improvements by actively looking for opportunities to shorten development times, improving skills of the team, and improving cost efficiency of application development activities through the complete software lifecycle. Contribute to finding and implementing effective End-To-End processes in a matrix organization.

You are the right fit for this position if:

  • University degree in Computer Sciences or similar

  • 5+ years work experience in related field

  • Practical experience of design, development and configuration, project management and integration of D365 system

  • D365 developer (.NET), SAP S4 (focus on Master Data and Lead to Cash / Order to Cash processes) and Webservice API developer skills

  • Experience in Integration with SAP CPI “middleware”

  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies and in managing work, code, tests and builds in an agile framework utilizing tools such as Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps or Jira

  • Well-developed knowledge and skills of the technologies used, and applications supported by the application team.

  • Proven technical aptitude in one or more application programming domains.

  • Customer oriented and with good stakeholder management ability, as you will support internal customers or collaborate with.

  • Team player with positive mindset, for your collaboration cross-functionally.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills, being able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts.

  • Fluent English knowledge required.
