Organon are recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team based in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will be a key liaison serving as the voice of HR to the business, and the voice of the business to HR by being knowledgeable of the various HR disciplines as well as understanding the experiences, expectations and needs of the business groups that you will support. This position is responsible for developing and driving HR strategies to meet business needs, in partnership with the broader HR organisation.
We are looking for an energetic and creative self-starter to join our HR Portugal Organisation supporting our Commercial and support functions in Portugal (local level) & will be a critical partner with the HRBP of our GSS Portugal Organisation. Our HR team will represent the catalyst for change and ambassador of our OnePortugal Organon culture for both organisations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic business partnership and coaching to clients, to positively impact the motivation, development, and retention of talent.
- Create and drive the talent and diversity strategy and initiatives for the assigned organisation.
- Provide Employee Relations and Labor Relations advice and consult to managers and employees.
- Active member of Organon Commercial Leadership team and co-lead of Organon OnePortugal Country Council.
- Proactively manage the HR calendar including talent review, promotions, performance, and succession planning.
- Work closely with the HR leadership team and COEs to facilitate implementation and realisation of plans across for the assigned organisations, in particular talent attraction/recruitment activities that directly impact our recruitment strategy in Portugal.
- Partner with Learning & Development group for advising in learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.
- Sponsor internal and external initiatives to build and promote a strong employer brand internally and externally.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience working within Pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Portuguese.
- Experience in Portuguese Employee Relations legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, consult with and coach managers.
- Effective presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible, pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
